Setting up Private Lessons for Non-Members
Some coaches/clubs may want to extend the ability to book private lessons to non-members. This article will walk through the recommended way to allow athletes who are not team members book private lessons through the WrestlingIQ software.
Why can't non-members just book lessons from the start?
For safety and legal protection, we always recommend that parents complete registration for their wrestlers before participating. This includes providing emergency contact information and signing liability waivers. That’s why we don’t allow guest bookings - everyone needs to be fully registered first before they can book lessons or step on the mat.
In the future we plan to support private lesson bookings for non-members—that takes parents through the registration process before booking—and will update this article at that time.
Set Up a 'Private Lesson Waiver' Registration
In order to collect all of the information and signatures needed for an athlete to step on the mat, you will want to set up a registration that collects all of this information. We recommend using a Trial registration type when creating this registration. You will want to indicate that this registration is for private lessons in the title and set the price to $0.
