Sending event invites
Note: Before you get started with event invites, it is highly recommended that you link rosters with your calendar events.
Sending event invites
Go to wrestlingiq.com/calendar click on an event to bring up the event details. Then tap edit in the invites section:
From there, use the shortcuts at the top—or manually add people—to send invites:
Once you've sent the event invites, you'll see the responses back on the event details page.
Use the Notes section on the calendar event to help reduce questions from parents and wrestlers. When you send an event invite, all of the notes on your calendar event will display in the email parents receive for that event invite.
We recommend always including:
- Who should attend this event, or who it is open to.
- What to bring or expect from this event
- Parent Details such as drop or, or where to watch from and mat side rules for parents
- When to arrive and other itinerary details like weigh in time, warmup, departure, when the facility closes or to pickup
- Additional like membership information, links to register for events or camps, volunteers needed and links to volunteer signup sheets, or who to DM on WIQ for additional information.
