Intro to tracking stats
Athlete stats can be taken in two ways:
- Scoring the match live as it is being recorded in the WrestlingIQ iOS app on an iPad or iPhone. To learn more about scoring and recording matches see Recording video and stats with the iOS app. After recording, scoring events can be viewed and edited under the Video Manager tab in the app or online.
- Recording a match in the app or uploading from a phone and scoring the match after the fact through the video manager. Using the edit button next to the scoring tab under a match, scoring events can be added as the match is replayed.
Stats Reporting
Stats reports can be generated to compile data on athlete's wins, loses, and scoring events. These stats can be generated over specific dates and specific rosters. Additionally, stats reports can be ran on a given calendar event to see how athletes preformed at that specific event (hint: this is why its important to link match videos to a specific event).
Reports that can be generated:
Win Loss Report: Summary of wins (sorted by total, decisions, major decisions, tech falls, and falls) and losses, per wrestler. Option to select to time frame and roster that the report is ran over.
Stats: Summary of stats - takedowns, nearfalls, reversals, escapes, and stallings, cautions, penalties, and violations - per wrestler. Option to select to time frame and roster that the report is ran over.
Event Stats: Summary of stats for a specific event, per wrestler
Another more generic way to view wins and losses for an individual wrestler is under their wrestler profile.
