How are people notified of new messages?

WrestlingIQ allows every individual user to fine-tune how they want to receive communication from your team.

By default everyone receives notifications by email and can opt-in to receive push notifications or SMS notifications.

Push Notifications with iOS and Android Apps

WrestlingIQ has an iOS app and an Android app, which is the recommended way to receive notifications for things like team messages.

WrestlingIQ will send an email prompting all of your parents, coaches, and wrestlers to download the app. If they download it and accept the push notification prompt, they will begin to receive notifications through the app.

SMS

Everyone has the ability to fine tune how they receive notifications from WrestlingIQ with notification settings. If you, or one of your parents, does not have a smartphone you can opt-in to SMS based notifications.

Inside WrestlingIQ

When you have a new message, you'll see a little bubble next to the 'Messages' tab, with the unread count in it. This automatically updates, so you do not have to refresh the page manually to see how many unread messages you have.
