BTS Recommend Wrestler & Parent Property Setup
This article is intended for Beat The Streets organizations using WrestlingIQ so that your data can be easily used for bulk buying USAW cards, grant writing, and to help normalize data across cities for national analysis.
Wrestler Properties
You can edit wrestler properties here. Wrestler properties is the public information that is filled out by guardians registering their kid(s) for your programming.
What follows is the recommended setup for consistent data analysis, but is not exhaustive. Please add in other information you need to collect from your wrestlers. For example, it is common to ask 'What school do you attend?' with a dropdown type of a list of schools in your region so you can do location based analysis.
There is a screenshot below of this inside the WrestlingIQ UI if that is easier to read.

Parent Properties
You can edit parent properties here. Parent properties is the public information that is filled out by guardians registering their kid(s) for your programming. In WrestlingIQ we typically push all the information onto the wrestler record to gracefully handle split household situations (i.e. two kids may not have the same address or emergency contact, even if they have a primary guardian).
