What happens when a recurring payment gets declined?

When a recurring payment gets declined, you will see a failed charge on the payments dashboard and the subscription will be marked as overdue in the WrestlingIQ UI.

WrestlingIQ will automatically send a parent an email, that looks like this:

Manual retries

Once the parent clicks that button and updates their card information, WrestlingIQ will retry the failed payment immediately.

Auto-retries

WrestlingIQ Payment Processing will automatically retry the payment after 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours, 96 hours and 144 hours. If none of those payments go through after the five retries over a seven day period, WrestlingIQ will automatically cancel the subscription.
