Getting Started with Private Lessons as a Parent
This article will show you how to navigate private lessons from a parent account. If your team offers private lessons, this will show you how to find, book, and monitor private lessons within the system. There will be two ways to book private lessons: on the web browser (log onto https://www.wrestlingiq.com/users/sign_in) or through the iOS/Android app.
IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to book a private lesson for your athlete you MUST have an active credit card on file. Even if you are paying for the lesson in cash, there must be a card on file for booking. This feature is to protect the business in the occurrence of cancellations and no shows . Cancellation and no show policies will vary by club.
You will not be charged until after the private lesson is complete.
Booking private lessons online
After logging on at https://www.wrestlingiq.com/users/sign_in, navigate to the Calendar tab on the menu and select the Private Lesson button on the left side of the calendar
On the next page select 'Book a Private Lesson Now'
On the next screen you will be prompted to select the coach that you would like to book a lesson with. Select the icon of the coach you want to book with.
On the next page you will see the coach bio and lesson options plus pricing. In the top right hand corner, select the date for the private lesson, then select the desired time slot below. These dates and time slots are determined by the lesson availability set by the coach.
Once you select a time slot, you can then select the Lesson Type. Coaches will have unique lesson offerings and prices that you can choose between. If an athlete has already signed up for a lesson in that time slot, you will only be able to select that lesson. The other athletes will show up on the left side of the screen if applicable. After selecting your lesson, select your athlete. If you have multiple athletes they will both appear here under the wrestler selection. Review your payment and the card on file and confirm the booking!
You will then be directed to a confirmation screen:

To view your private lesson bookings - upcoming, cancelled, and completed - return to the calendar private lesson view:

Another place that you can view all private lesson information is under your wrestler's profile, in a new tab called "Private Lessons".
Completion of the private lesson
Once the private has been completed the coach will mark the lesson as complete and charge your credit card (unless you paid cash - which they will indicate in the completion process). The coach has an opportunity to leave feedback which will be sent to you in a direct message after they mark the lesson as complete:
