How do I initiate a Registration Protection or Accident & Injury claim?

Please visit the ViCoverage Customer Portal and login or create an account with the email address associated with your policy. Once logged in, you'll see your policy details and the instructions to submit your claim.

If you can't remember which email address is associated with insurance you purchased and you have multiple emails, you may need to try a few until you see the policies displayed in the portal.

What do I need to file a Registration Protection or Accident & Injury claim?

When submitting a claim, you will be required to provide documentation to support a claim. Depending on the situation of the claim and the policy you have, the required documentation will vary.

For Registration Protection for a sports program, you can expect to provide the following:

• Record/Proof of the Incident - Documentation to support the reason for no longer being able to participate or attend the activity - for example: medical documentation for an injury or illness, or if a sports program, a letter from a coach or program administrator describing the incident when the injury occurred.
• Proof of your Registration - receipt showing your registration amount
• Proof of Participation - copy of a roster or documentation from the team/league showing participation in the program
• Copy of the Program Schedule - copy of the program/team's schedule or calendar

For Accident & Injury Insurance, you can expect to provide the following:

• Proof of Participation - copy of a roster or documentation from the team/league showing participation in the program
• Documentation of the Injury Incident - note from the coach or program administrator confirming the date of the incident and that it occurred to your participant while participating in a sanctioned program activity. 
• Medical Receipts documenting your out-of-pocket expenses related to your participant and the injury that experienced.
